Miss Michala Kathleen Margaret Cuerden

12 Wharfedale Avenue, Brookfield, Preston PR2 6XH  M. 07711982404  E.

I am currently a degree student in photography at Blackburn College University Centre. I have aspirations to enter the professional realm of photography. I am drawn to photography as I am fascinated by what the human mind is capable of creating through the use of the imagination in the media of film and digital imagery.

I am also employed casually as a support worker in mental health via an agency for the NHS, which I enjoy but I now wish to pursue my artistic passion, and creative ability by choosing to study Photography at university. My current role can be very challenging and demanding at times and I feel I cope with people who present challenging behaviour. I understand the needs of the individual and how to respond appropriately.

I hold particular interest in fashion and also underwater photography, as I am currently in the process of training to become a dive leader, with the Sub Aqua Association in my spare time.

I am extremely motivated, enthusiastic, and act in a professional manner at all times. These I believe, are all transferable skills that would enable me to perform the role of a Photographer.

I particularly like to take up new challenges offered to me and I am always prepared to undertake any training offered to enhance my ability and to effectively carry out my role.
