There are many types of insurance packages available for photographers on the market, which can be mind boggling. Insurance is important because camera equipment can be extremely expensive and sometimes fragile due to the use of glass optics. Photographer’s must also ensure against liability for any damages caused to a person, or property whilst producing a shoot, as therefore necessary to aware of the types of insurances available to professional photographer’s. The main protection that will be needed for being a professional photographer are;

Equipment Insurance:

Buying camera equipment is an expensive investment and it is unfortunate but reality that these items can be stolen or become damaged. I have used a comparison site to find the top ten insurance companies that offer this service. (Money, 2016)
